We serve the Alger Heights neighborhood and the broader public by promoting civic engagement, public safety, and community pride. Participation is open and free to everyone who lives, owns property, or runs a business in Alger Heights. Whether you're new to the area or have lived here for decades, your voice matters, and we invite you to be part of what's next.
The Alger Heights of Grand Rapids Neighborhood Association is a Michigan nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We work to promote civic engagement and support neighborhood improvement in Alger Heights for the benefit of the general public. We are an all-volunteer organization governed by a Board of Directors. Our activities, including our block liaison network, community meetings, neighborhood events, and resident communications, are open and free to everyone in the neighborhood, with no dues or membership required.
